Our 2008 room rates are as follows:

Single room with breakfast - £65
or £85 including dinner.

Stackpoole grade room with breakfast - £105 
or £140 including dinner.

Peek grade room with breakfast - £140
or £170 including dinner.

Poulett grade room with breakfast - £155
or £185 including dinner.

Gould grade room with breakfast - £165
or £195 including dinner.

Due to the age of the building all our rooms are very different. The grades above are dictated by the size and aspect of the room. Gould rooms are larger with stunning sea facing bay windows. Poulett rooms have sea views with large windows. Some of the Peek rooms have sea views whilst our Stackpoole rooms do not have sea views.

Our rooms are named after historical owners of the house: built for the Countess Dowager Poulett in 1735, Peek who during his time turned the stable block into a beautiful chapel, the Duc de Stackpoole who turned the house into an hotel in 1901 and Gould after John Gould the famous Victorian ornithologist who's father was the gardener here and where it is said his love of birds began.

Reservations

All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit / debit card. The hotel will forward written confirmation of your booking which you should check and advise us immediately if any details are incorrect.

Deposits, Reservations and Cancellations

For all bookings a deposit representing one night's stay will be required. This deposit is refundable if the accommodation is re-sold at the appropriate rate or cancelled with 28 days notice. Regretfully we must charge for bookings cancelled or amended within 28 days of your proposed arrival, however, we will only do this if we are unable to re-let the room. The charge of 80% of the quoted price from the tariff for the entire stay will be debited from your card. We strongly urge you to take out appropriate cancellation insurance. All cancellations and/or any changes to your reservation must confirmed in writing. If your reservation is made within 28 days of your arrival, you will automatically be in the cancellation period. No refunds will be given for failing to take up any component included in the price of your holiday.
