Decorated with traditional English style, most rooms have breathtaking coastal and sea views.
Standard features of each room include:-
Egyptian cotton bed linen
Flat screen TV with radio
Tea / coffee tray
Hairdryer
White fluffy bathrobes
Carefully chosen sea salt and marine extract shampoo and body wash
Telephone with modem point
The grades above are dictated by the size and / or aspect of the room. Gould rooms are larger with stunning sea facing bay windows, they also have a radio with MP3 docking station. Most Poulett rooms have sea views or are larger and suitable for families. Peek rooms are either suitable for smaller families, have views over the roof tops of Lyme or the gardens, whilst our Stackpoole room is on the ground floor.
Our rooms are named after historical owners of the house: built for the Countess Dowager Poulett in 1735, Peek who during his time turned the stable block into a beautiful chapel, the Duc de Stackpoole who turned the house into an hotel in 1901 and Gould after John Gould the famous Victorian ornithologist who's father was the gardener here and where it is said his love of birds began.
