Breakfast is served in the Alexandra Restaurant; we offer a full choice, from the light continental style of warm croissant and locally made preserves to a traditional English breakfast using Devon farm sausages and bacon or perhaps eggs Benedict or even scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and a glass of champagne.
Breakfast is served from 8.00am – 10.00am
Served every day in the sitting room, garden or on the deck which has fantastic views over the Cobb harbour and out to sea or perhaps in winter, by the fire in the sitting room. Wherever you choose, the aroma of our ‘fair trade’ freshly ground coffee is always a welcome start to the day.
Morning coffee is served from 9.30am – 12.00pm.
The Restaurant serves lunch every day, where you may enjoy as much or as little as you like from perhaps a bowl of soup or a sandwich to a more extensive range of dishes. Traditional two or three course Sunday Roast is served every week, using local produce such as award winning Dorset farm lamb and Somerset’s Exmoor Park Beef; this is always a popular family occasion.
Lunch is served from 12.00pm – 2.00pm
Served every day in the garden, deck or sitting room, why not treat yourself to a traditional Dorset Cream Tea with our homemade scones, locally produced jam and Devonshire clotted cream. Try our Alexandra Champagne Tea for that special indulgence with; cakes, sandwiches, cream tea and more.

Afternoon Tea is served from 3.00pm – 5.30pm
Our restaurant provides you with a selection of delicious dishes from a daily changing menu according to what’s in season and at it’s best. Enjoy the stunning views of the Jurassic Coast and Lyme Bay as we take care of your every need. The sunny Conservatory also provides the perfect setting for morning coffee, light lunch, afternoon tea as well as dinner from the Restaurant menu.
Dinner is served from 6.30pm – 9.00pm
Children’s supper is served daily at 6.30 pm in the restaurant, garden or your room.
At the Alexandra we have a fine selection of Red and White wines.
