Events at The Alexandra

Film & Supper Nights

We are holding regular film and supper nights mainly on the second Wednesday of every month. Join us for a cocktail, a two-course supper (choose from our current seasonal menu) and a film in The Old Chapel. Tickets are £30 per person and can be booked on 01297 442010. Arrive at 7pm for cocktail and dinner. 

Wednesday 31st October – ‘The Others’ (2001) starring Nicole Kidman

Our next film & supper night is on Wednesday 31st October, 7pm to mark Halloween and we will be showing ‘The Others’ (2001), a horror-thriller starring Nicole Kidman. The film is partly based on The Turn of The Screw and is about a young woman and her children who occupy a remote house on the Channel Islands in the immediate aftermath of WW2. When odd events occur at the house they fear that there are unknown ‘others’ present.

FAMILY HALLOWEEN FILM NIGHT – 24th October, 6.30pm

Over half-term we have a Family Halloween Film Night in the Chapel showing ‘Ghostbusters’ (2016). Tickets are £7 per adult and £5 per child , to include popcorn. Film starts at 6.30pm, early supper available for children from 5pm.

Wednesday 24th October, 6.30pm – Family Halloween Film Night in the Chapel showing ‘Ghostbusters’ (2016). Tickets £7 per adult and £5 per child to include popcorn. Film starts at 6.30pm, early supper available.

Wednesday 31st October – Film & Supper Night Halloween Special showing The Others (2001).  Tickets £30pp and include a two-course dinner and a cocktail.


NOVEMBER

Saturday 3rd November, 6.30pm – Lyme Regis Fireworks and Bonfire Night. Join us for hot cocktails on the Alexandra’s Garden Deck with some proceeds going to local charities. Why not stay for dinner from 7pm onwards, children’s menu also available.

Wednesday 14th November – Film & Supper Night in The Chapel – ‘The Beguiled’


DECEMBER

Wednesday 12th December & Friday 14th December – 10am – 1pm. Christmas Wreath Making Workshops in The Chapel.  A three hour wreath making workshop to create your own beautiful door wreath. All materials included, plus tea, coffee and mini mince pies. £55 per person, book on 01297 442010

Enjoy a 2-course festive lunch with a complimentary glass of wine for £25.95 per person after the workshop.

Wednesday 12th December, 7pm – Film & Supper Night in The Chapel showing ‘Dunkirk; (2017).  Tickets £30pp and include a two-course dinner and a cocktail.

 Saturday 22nd December , 6.30pm- Family Christmas film in The Chapel showing Arthur Christmas’ (2011). Tickets are £7 per adult and £5 per child and include popcorn. Film starts at 6.30pm, children’s pre-show supper available from 5pm.

24th December – Christmas Eve Carol Service in The Chapel
